Lily provides feedback during a workshop for seasonal staff at Omega Institute during her week-long residency.

American Visionary Art Museum

On November 14, Lily appeared at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore where her paintings of the Rwandan genocide are included as part of the exhibition, “Esther and the Dream of One Human Family.” Lily spoke with Cecile Lipworth, a Board member of Art and Remembrance as part of an ongoing series of programs on the use of art as a tool to combat social injustice.

Harvard Divinity School

At the invitation of Lily longtime friend and collaborator, Terry Tempest Williams, Lily led a workshop for students at Harvard Divinity School on October 29.

Omega Institute

Lily was a Hermitage Resident at Omega Institute in the Hudson Valley for a week at the end of October. During her residency she conducted a workshop for seasonal staff and gave the final Sanctuary Hour presentation of the 2024 season.

Ningbo and Tongren Universities

Between projects at Dandelion and Shui Jian schools, Lily was a visiting artist at China’s top art school at Nigbo University. She also lectured at Tongren University in Guiyang, Guizhou Province.
