Lily Yeh visited McDonogh School in Baltimore Maryland on October 24, 2013 to conduct an Awakening Creativity workshop with Upper School Art I and Art II students.
After hearing Lily’s personal stories about her work in broken communities, one student shared, “I feel so refreshed and inspired to do something positive.” The freshmen also spent time in the studio creating two 8 x 8 foot paintings with the Lily, one for McDonogh’s campus and one for the Dandelion School in Beijing, China. The McDonogh art department is working on visiting the Dandelion School in the coming year.
